Learning Objectives Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to: - Describe the clinical presentation, including classic symptomatology and physical examination findings, of neurologic, vascular, and musculoskeletal leg disorders.
- Differentiate between leg disorders based
on pathophysiologic origin to provide proper diagnosis and possible cause of disease.
- Recognize the implications of misdiagnosis of leg disorders and its relative impact on patient outcomes, including morbidity, mortality, and quality of life.
- Design a treatment plan that utilizes pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic strategies to manage the symptoms and comorbidities associated with leg disorders.
