There are a number of considerations for treating ovarian cancer, from the chemotherapeutic approaches in first-line therapy, to the chemotherapeutic, intraperitoneal, neoadjuvant chemoradiation, or molecular targeted approach in second-line therapy. At the 39th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, several presentations focused on the many issues that arise in the treatment of ovarian cancer, including dosing, sequencing, and toxicity, as researchers seek to improve the prognosis of women with ovarian cancer.
