  1. Describe the clinical presentation and impact of RV failure in pulmonary hypertension, and evaluate newer RV imaging techniques that might enhance diagnosis and better assess treatment effects.
  2. Outline state-of-the-art evidence-based management approaches for patients with early or mild PAH, with a focus on pros and cons of various oral therapies.
  3. Delineate when and how to escalate therapy in the long-term management of PAH, using a goal-oriented approach to assess patient progress with combination therapy (oral, parenteral, and/or inhaled).
  4. Identify emerging patient populations with or at risk for PAH, develop appropriate management strategies, and optimize treatment.
