Neurofibromatosis type 2 (NF2) is a tumor suppressor syndrome characterized by schwannomas, meningiomas and spinal cord gliomas. The clinical features, diagnostic criteria, presentations and treatment of NF2 are reviewed in this case.

A Diver Unconscious at the Surface After a Recreational Dive
A 22-year-old recreational diver was performing an open-ocean dive and lost consciousness while ascending. Emergency measures were performed and the diver regained consciousness; within about 30 seconds, he began coughing pink, frothy sputum. The diver was taken to the ED.
