Clodronate Lowers Long-Term Risk of Osteoporosis in Early Breast Cancer Patients
Even 7 years after completing a 3-year course of adjuvant therapy with the bisphosphonate clodronate, patients with early-stage breast cancer were significantly less likely to develop spinal osteoporosis than were patients who did not receive clodronate.
